VPX283UC640-SA

The VPX283UC640-SA supplies high-density 12 and 3.3 VDC power to 3U VPX computing, radar, sensing and AI-processing cards. It operates from an 18 to 36 VDC input range and produces as much as 700 W from one 5HP slot, making it a practical match for conventional 28 VDC shipboard buses.

The 12 VDC rail is rated for 640 W, and the 3.3 VDC auxiliary rail provides a further 60 W. Up to three modules can be paralleled for larger processing clusters or distributed conversion schemes. Efficiency of up to 92 percent and VITA 48.2 conduction cooling help control thermal demand in sealed naval electronics enclosures.

The module communicates through dual IPMB channels and I2C, giving the host access to live electrical measurements, temperature data, counters, identity and self-test information. Conformal coating and comprehensive electrical protection make it ideal for rugged modular systems installed on surface vessels and uncrewed maritime platforms.
