The VPX2703UC500-SA converts a nominal 270 VDC distribution bus into the low-voltage rails required by naval mission computers and sensor processors. The SOSA-aligned, single-slot 3U VPX module provides a 12 VDC main output and a 3.3 VDC auxiliary output, with a combined capacity of 500 W.
Its 5HP form factor and VITA 48.2 conduction-cooled construction fit sealed embedded-computing enclosures where fanless card-level operation is desirable. Conversion efficiency reaches 92 percent, and the 250 to 280 VDC input range accommodates high-voltage DC architectures used to reduce cable current and distribution losses aboard advanced vessels.
Dual IPMB channels and an I2C interface report voltage, current, temperature, elapsed time, identification data and built-in-test results. Input-transient, overvoltage, overcurrent, short-circuit and thermal protection provide a managed power layer for modular radar, electronic-warfare, autonomy and undersea-processing systems.
