The BW2901 family supplies regulated 24 or 28 VDC power to shipboard communications, control, sensing and embedded-computing equipment. Its compact single-phase architecture accepts nominal 115 VAC input and is available in 300, 325 and 600 W configurations, giving naval system designers several options within a common mechanical envelope.
Current sharing enables multiple compatible units to operate in parallel, extending aggregate capacity to 2.4 kW for larger electronics racks. The family includes galvanic isolation and short-circuit protection and has been developed for applicable naval power, environmental and electromagnetic standards, including MIL-STD-1399, MIL-STD-167, MIL-S-901D, MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-461.
