Subsonus Tag
Subsonus Tag is a low-cost acoustic positioning transponder designed for use with Advanced Navigation’s Subsonus USBL. Ideal for tracking AUVs and ROVs as well as for reporting position, orientation, heading and temperature data, the hermetically-sealed device features an integrated battery, wireless charging and a low-power pressure-tolerant e-paper display.
Tags can operate at depths of up to 2000 metres for up to 18 months without recharging, and up to 65,000 individual Tags can be tracked by one surface Subsonus unit.
