As such there is a need to support more, and competitive projects that can allow development and expansion of this sector and support net-zero ambitions. But there are hurdles to growth, including slow build-up of networking and capacity in developing countries, a lack of government policies to support infrastructure and build quality, and limited financing for R&D to improve the reliability of automation, zero failure design and standardisation.
