Dynautics offers a versatile joystick interface designed to work seamlessly with all Spectre autopilot systems, from the compact E-Boat Series to the more robust MK4 systems. This direct integration with the autopilot enables exceptionally precise manual control, making it ideal for a wide range of vessel types.
The joystick allows operators to maneuver even large patrol boats into dock with inch-perfect accuracy. Equally effective on smaller, highly responsive survey craft, it offers intuitive handling and agile control, whether in tight harbor conditions or during detailed survey operations.
A key safety feature of the device is its magnetic ‘dead man’s handle.’ Worn around the operator’s neck, the handle must be engaged to enable control. If the joystick is dropped or the magnetic switch is disengaged, whether intentionally or accidentally, the system automatically cuts propulsion, immediately stopping the vessel to prevent accidents.
The joystick provides a reliable control range of up to 400 meters. While it has demonstrated effectiveness at distances of up to 2 kilometers, 400 meters is considered the optimal range for dependable operation.
