Dynautics showcased its Phantom 2 AUV at Oceanology International 2026, presenting a multi-purpose underwater vehicle designed to carry a range of instruments for several hours.
Building on the compact Phantom 1 AUV developed for the US Navy, Phantom 2 combines proven autopilot technology with a scalable, modular design that can be customized for different payload requirements. Missions can be pre-programmed or adjusted dynamically, allowing the AUV to respond to instrument data, battery status, or safety limits during operation.
