Partners Expand Autonomous Surface Vessel Manufacturing

Maritime Tactical Systems, Inc. (MARTAC) has entered into a manufacturing partnership with Florida-based boatbuilder SŌLACE Boats to scale production of its flagship Devil Ray unmanned surface vessel platform by 100 vessels per year.

The expansion aims to meet increasing demand signals from U.S. and allied-nation governments while supporting national security operations. The co-production relationship forms part of MARTAC’s ongoing domestic scaling strategy to harness regional manufacturers with dual-use experience, enabling the company to exponentially increase the output of mission-ready autonomous vehicles while mitigating lead time and capital constraints. This announcement follows MARTAC’s recent co-production agreement with Mystic Powerboats.

Operating from a 200,000-square-foot production facility, SŌLACE Boats brings nearly forty years of multi-industry boatbuilding experience with proven capabilities in vacuum infusion and catamaran-hull manufacturing. SŌLACE’s expertise in designing and building high-performance, high-strength boats directly complements the manufacturing methods used in MARTAC’s Devil Ray and MANTAS unmanned surface vessel platforms.
