Teledyne FLIR Marine, part of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated, has introduced the FLIR M364C-USV multispectral maritime camera system designed to improve safety, hazard detection, and situational awareness for autonomous and uncrewed surface vessels.
Combining thermal and visible imaging into a rugged, mission-ready platform, the system enables reliable operation day or night and through challenging environmental conditions such as glare, haze, and low visibility. The dual-spectrum imaging enhances the detection of nearby vessels, navigation markers, and potential hazards, delivering clear visual data necessary for navigation, obstacle avoidance, surveillance, security, environmental monitoring, and scientific research.
Engineered specifically for remote and autonomous missions, the system features a reinforced pan-and-tilt assembly and a continuous-duty design to ensure uninterrupted visual intelligence during extended deployments. Aligned video and telemetry data simplify integration with third-party autonomy, remote-control, and mission-management systems, providing high-quality inputs that support advanced analytics, machine-vision applications, and AI-enabled workflows.
