As the maritime domain grows increasingly contested, maintaining intelligence dominance has never been more vital.

Defence IQ’s Maritime ISR 2025 Conference, taking place 28–29 October 2025, at the Copthorne Tara Hotel, London, UK, will convene senior naval leaders, policymakers, and industry pioneers to address the technologies and strategies driving the next era of maritime surveillance and security.

Recent developments underscore the urgency of advancing ISR capabilities. Exail has secured a major defence contract for five DriX H-8 Uncrewed Surface Vehicles, the largest deployment of its kind to date, signalling the rapid integration of autonomous platforms into ISR operations.

At the same time, Gabler unveiled new concepts for torpedo tube launched USVs at the 27th DWT Naval Workshop in Germany, reinforcing the momentum behind uncrewed solutions that extend surveillance reach and resilience. These milestones highlight the accelerating transformation of maritime ISR and the need for international collaboration to stay ahead of evolving threats.

With participation from Vice Admiral Doug Perry, Commander 2nd Fleet, US Navy, Brigadier John Creel, Incoming Commander of NATO’s ISR Force, and Jeremy Churcher, Head of Defence at the UK Hydrographic Office, Maritime ISR 2025 will spotlight how innovation across sea, air and space domains is reshaping the future of situational awareness.

The programme will also examine:

  • Integration of uncrewed platforms into ISR operations
  • Enhancing operational efficiency through ocean connectivity and data driven decision making
  • Strengthening ISR collaboration among allies to counter shared security challenges

By connecting strategic insights with operational advances, Maritime ISR 2025 offers a unique platform to understand how intelligence and surveillance will define tomorrow’s maritime security environment.
