NOVACAVI will showcase a new innovative solution for the fast and reliable identification of steel wire armoured cables at the UDT 2026 exhibition in London.

The sample, featured on Stand D80 from April 14th to 16th, demonstrates a system that enables operators to clearly distinguish cables in use when multiple systems are connected and deployed simultaneously. This identification capability is designed to reduce the risk of entanglement and improve onboard operational efficiency and safety during complex deck operations.

Engineered to withstand harsh maritime environments, the identification system is extremely durable and designed to resist saltwater exposure, UV radiation, and extreme temperatures. This ensures the marking remains functional throughout demanding deployment cycles common in underwater monitoring and surveillance.

Since 1975, NOVACAVI has been driving cable innovation above and below the surface. Through the Aquancable line, the company offers tailor-made bespoke umbilicals, tethers, and tow cables for underwater monitoring, surveillance systems, and submarine instrumentation. These solutions are developed to ensure precision and durability even in the harshest environments.
