Ocean Connect Asia serves as a regional platform for Southeast Asia’s marine and hydrographic sectors and builds on the continued development of Geo Connect Asia, the region’s established event for geospatial, remote sensing, and location intelligence technologies.
Set against the backdrop of ASEAN’s expanding economic influence, the event highlights the importance of ocean infrastructure, maritime operations, environmental monitoring, and marine science across interconnected coastal and island territories.
Ocean Connect Asia 2027 is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th March 2027.
The event theme for Ocean Connect Asia 2027 is:
Innovation, Autonomy & Technologies for the Ocean & Marine Science Economies
Sessions and discussions are expected to focus on marine technologies, hydrographic capabilities, autonomous and uncrewed systems, ocean science applications, and solutions supporting maritime operations and environmental monitoring.
Ocean Connect Asia 2027 will feature conference sessions, exhibitions, and networking opportunities focused on marine and ocean technologies.
The event is expected to bring together more than 3,000 attendees, alongside over 100 speakers and more than 120 exhibitors across four co-located events.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore developments in marine and hydrographic technologies, ocean data collection, autonomy, remote sensing, and uncrewed systems designed for maritime and offshore environments.
The event also builds on the success of previous editions introduced under Marine & Hydro Asia, which attracted strong participation from blue economy stakeholders, marine scientists, hydrographic professionals, and uncrewed systems specialists.
Ocean Connect Asia 2027 is expected to feature speakers from across the marine science, hydrographic, maritime, government, and technology sectors. Presentations and discussions will focus on regional challenges, technological innovation, autonomy, and the future of ocean and marine operations.
Ocean Connect Asia builds on five years of development alongside Geo Connect Asia. The Marine & Hydro Asia component attracted 16% of Geo Connect Asia’s 2025 audience of 2,930 attendees, demonstrating growing regional engagement in marine science, hydrography, blue economy initiatives, and uncrewed maritime technologies.
Singapore’s position as a regional hub for trade, maritime operations, and technology development continues to support the event’s growth and international participation.
