VA500 Underwater Altimeter
The VA500 altimeter is designed to solve underwater positioning issues for ROVs (remotely operated vehicles), AUVs (autonomous underwater vehicles) and other underwater platforms, delivering millimetre-precision performance and a range of up to 100 metres in a compact package.
With a 500kHz transducer and featuring cutting-edge signal processing, the robust sensor is enclosed within a 6000 metre-rated titanium housing. It can be fitted with an optional temperature-compensated piezo-resistive sensor that can be configured with a variety of measurement ranges.
