Rayfin Trench 11Km is SubC Imaging’s deepest-rated camera, engineered for scientific and offshore missions operating to 11,000 meters. Built on the established Rayfin platform, it captures 4K and HD video together with 12.3MP still imagery, supported by a water-corrected optical dome and wide in-water field of view for sharp, low-distortion results. A 10x digital zoom (equivalent to 5x optical) and simultaneous still and video capture enable detailed visual documentation of benthic habitats, geological features, and deep-sea assets in extreme-pressure environments.

Designed for landers, deep-sea observatories, AUVs, winch-deployed systems, and hadal-capable ROVs, the camera supports autonomous operation through an integrated no-code scripting interface. Users can automate capture intervals, lighting control, and sensor-triggered workflows, with optional hibernation mode for extended time-lapse deployments.

Rapid Digital Imaging (RDI) provides adjustable capture rates up to 2 Hz, while the built-in DVR and internal storage allow hours of 4K video and thousands of still images to be recorded without continuous surface connectivity. Integrated tilt and roll logging, EXIF and NMEA metadata embedding, and real-time video overlays with audio annotation deliver contextualized datasets for oceanographic research and offshore survey programs. Dual auxiliary ports enable integration with external lights, lasers, and sensors, supporting flexible configuration for demanding marine science applications.
