2422 Accelerometer
The 2422 is a specialized three-axis accelerometer module designed for applications with limited power supply availability or where steady +5V DC excitation may be preferred. Based on three orthogonally-mounted SDI industrial-grade surface mount MEMS accelerometer chips, the sensor provides low noise and excellent long-term stability, and is ideal for a variety of offshore and marine applications including seismic monitoring, tilt and vibration compensation, and robotics.
The accelerometer is housed in a robust anodized aluminium enclosure with an integrated 3-foot shielded cable, and each unit is tested, programmed, and calibrated by SDI prior to shipping.
