RDS’s OLED display solutions combine infinite contrast, vivid colour and a backlight-free architecture for vessel HMIs, portable survey equipment and compact control systems. The technology is available from miniature character displays to large 4K panels, enabling RDS to match the display format to space-constrained instrument interfaces or larger shipboard and shore-based operator stations.
Existing panels can be extensively customised to create rugged interactive systems with touch input, strengthened cover glass, specialised coatings, EMI shielding, thermal management, IP sealing and custom housings. RDS uses in-house cleanroom facilities and manufacturer partnerships to produce bespoke OLED solutions from low-volume prototypes through high-volume production.
