OmniCom VMS
The OmniCom Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) beacon is a NOAA-certified solution that provides full regulatory compliance for commercial fishing vessels, with dual satellite and cellular communications and automatic switching for least-cost routing. The system transmits identification notifications for vessels that approach, enter, leave, or remain within configurable geofencing parameters, allowing fleets and government agencies to enforce compliance for restricted areas.
The low-power unit is IP67-rated and features a 10" ruggedized touchscreen tablet, digital I/O, USB, and NMEA 2000 ports, and an easily accessible SOS button for emergency situations.
