TriLux

TriLux is a highly sensitive miniature multi-parameter fluorometer that combines three sensors in a single compact instrument. Chlorophyll-a measurement is supplied as standard, with configurations combining it with phycocyanin, phycoerythrin or turbidity for coastal, freshwater and marine deployments.

The sensor uses multiple excitation wavelengths to target different phytoplankton pigment groups, with the resulting fluorescence detected and quantified at a single emission wavelength. Its serial output supports integration with CTD instruments, data buoys, monitoring stations, surface vehicles, AUVs and ROVs using one bulkhead connector, one cable and one data port.

Depth-rated to 2,000 meters, TriLux is designed for biological monitoring in saltwater and freshwater environments. Applications include the monitoring, control and prevention of harmful algal blooms, coastal zone monitoring, biological assessment in marine protected areas and protection of water intakes.
