The M195 EchoRange Smart Sensor is a dual-frequency sensor that provides high-accuracy measurements of depth and underwater temperature. Featuring sophisticated embedded microelectronics and digital signal processing, it is ideal for a range of marine applications such as inspection, dredging, and hydrographic survey.
The sensor can deliver data in real time to any NMEA-compatible device via RS-422 serial, and depth range and ping rate resolution can be easily configured by the user. The device also features an echo envelope option that is exclusive to OEMs and offers a secondary transmit-only RS-485 interface that can obtain detailed data that can be displayed as an analog waveform. Analysis of this data allows users to gain insights into seafloor characterization.
