The USVSTAR A300 is an uncrewed surface vessel developed to improve the efficiency of water sampling missions in marine environments. It enables automatic collection of water samples with minimal operator involvement, supporting environmental monitoring and water analysis tasks. Once placed on the water, the system immediately begins operation, collecting either 2.5-liter or 6-liter samples at a depth of 0.5 meters in less than one minute. This rapid sampling capability reduces the time and manual effort required during field operations.
Engineered for reliability in challenging conditions, the USVSTAR A300 incorporates a self-righting system that allows it to return to an upright position if overturned by waves. A self-cleaning sampling pipeline flushes the system between collections to prevent cross-contamination and maintain sample quality. The vessel is equipped with a ducted propeller for maneuverability and operation in shallow waters, along with a compact, lightweight design that supports easy transport and deployment in remote locations.
