Siren Marine, a global leader in Connected Boat® technology, has unveiled its latest product, the Siren 3, at the International Boat Builders Exhibition & Conference (IBEX) in Tampa, Florida.

The new device is designed to bring advanced boat monitoring and control to mid-sized vessels, such as outboard-powered boats, pontoons, and bass boats, providing boaters with a comprehensive and accessible marine IoT solution.

The Siren 3™ is a cutting-edge Connected Boat® device that enables boat owners to monitor, track, and control their vessels remotely. Tailored for mid-sized outboard-powered boats, it delivers a robust IoT solution for a wider range of boaters, offering enhanced vessel security and real-time monitoring via the Siren Connected Boat app.

The Siren 3 incorporates the SirenWAVE™ proprietary communication protocol for fast and secure connectivity between the device and wireless sensors, ensuring reliable performance in marine environments. The device also features a space-saving internal antenna, making it ideal for smaller vessels. Additionally, it supports connectivity with NMEA 2000® and Yamaha CommandLink® systems for outboard engines up to 300 horsepower.

Key Features:

  • Supports up to six Siren wireless sensors via SirenWAVE™ protocol
  • New internal antenna design optimized for smaller boats
  • Monitors one hard-wired battery and is compatible with multiple vessel and power types
  • Seamless integration with NMEA 2000® and Yamaha CommandLink® networks

“Siren set the standard for marine Internet of Things (IoT) devices with its flagship device, Siren 3 Pro. Now we’re expanding the Connected Boat experience to a high-volume segment of the market. Boaters who prefer mid-sized boats now have access to a robust solution designed specifically for their needs,” said Andrew Cullen, Director, Marine Connectivity, Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit.

“With Siren 3, customers can monitor, track, control and maintain their boats through the Siren Connected Boat app – from anywhere and at anytime. This is the most comprehensive IoT solution available at this price point in the marine industry.”

Available in April of 2025, Siren 3 can be installed by boat owners, boat builders or onsite at Yamaha marine dealerships nationwide. Siren 3 MSPR is $299.
