MostaTech will demonstrate its highly durable Fiber Optic Gyroscopes (FOGs), suitable for navigation and stabilization systems in marine vehicles, at DSEI 2025, in London, UK, from September 9-12.
Robust gyroscopes on display at the exhibition include VG2103S-3000, VG1703 and the VG910, specifically the VG910H1.
These low-SWaP, cost-effective, and non-ITAR solutions are utilized in many applications, such as Inertial Navigation Systems (INSs) for UAVs, UUVs, USVs, and ROVs, as well as gimbal and platform stabilization systems.
The VG2103S-3000 specifically is a compact gyro measuring 60×60×17 mm, designed with 3000g shock endurance and 18g vibration endurance. This technology features low noise performance with an ARW of 0.03°/√h.
The VG1703 is an ultra-compact gyro model weighing 35g and measuring ∅40×19 mm, with 3000g shock resistance, 30g vibration endurance, and high accuracy of 0.008°/√h ARW.
There is also the VG910H1, a durable option, featuring 1200g shock resistance, 30g vibration endurance, and an ARW of 0.015°/√h.
MostaTech’s VG2103S and VG1703 sensors are small form-factor FOG models, developed to withstand harsh conditions, such as vibrations up to 30g RMS.
These models can operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -60°C to +125°C, with the VG1703 providing optional magnetic shielding for environments with high magnetic interference.
