Enhanced Horizon™

Enhanced Horizon™ is a camera-based detection and identification system that equips our DataXplorer™ USVs with unparalleled situational awareness and hazard detection capabilities. Utilizing advanced AI algorithms to process multiple high-resolution optical
and thermal video streams simultaneously, it can automatically recognize ten distinct object classes, including fishing vessels, pleasure craft, and marine debris.

Enhanced Horizon Detection - Passenger Vessel

The advanced vision system uses onboard edge processing, ensuring immediate detection without latency or reliance on remote computing and connectivity. It is capable of identifying large vessels at distances up to 9 nautical miles, often detecting them before they appear on AIS. This provides operators with timely intelligence to support fast and informed decision-making. Enhanced Horizon™ is especially valuable for identifying “dark” vessels that are not transmitting AIS signals, making it a vital tool for monitoring and enforcement efforts such as illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing.

Underwater Listener™

Underwater Listener™ is a powerful onboard acoustic analytics system that utilizes AI driven detection and classification to identify sounds from sources both above and below the surface. Performing real-time edge processing on single-channel audio streams, it offers reliable insights minimizing the amount of time human operators need to spend searching for detections.

Underwater Listener

The system is ideal for providing acoustic situational awareness during autonomous missions, as well as for marine wildlife monitoring, environmental assessment, range clearing, and more.
