DataXplorer™
Long-endurance solar-powered USVs for autonomous data collection

DataXplorer™ is a solar-powered, zero-emission uncrewed surface vehicle (USV) built for long endurance missions in challenging marine environments. With a patented self-righting design, rugged hull, and quiet electric propulsion, it operates autonomously for weeks at a time while collecting high-resolution data without the need for human intervention.
Compact and portable, the DataXplorer™ can be deployed from shore or vessel by a small crew and transported using a pickup truck. For offshore operations, an optional launch and recovery system (LARS) is available. The USV supports satellite, cellular, and radio communications, enabling secure over-the-horizon control and continuous real-time data transmission.
Every DataXplorer™ features a modular payload bay, allowing for fast and flexible sensor integration to suit diverse mission requirements. The standard configuration includes 360° optical cameras, thermal imaging, weather and oceanographic sensors, GPS navigation, and AIS. This adaptable design supports specialized variants optimized for key sectors such as marine mammal monitoring, defence, environmental monitoring, and maritime security.
