Lookout+
Key Features
Technical Specifications
Introducing Lookout+, an advanced optical radar detection system engineered to enhance maritime navigation safety. Designed for seamless integration with both existing and new vessels, Lookout+ employs cutting-edge computer vision and artificial intelligence to autonomously detect, classify, and track a wide array of maritime objects, including vessels, navigation markers, marine mammals, and potential hazards.
By integrating Lookout+ into your maritime operations, you enhance navigational safety, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to the protection of marine ecosystems.
- Real-Time Detection and Classification: Lookout+ provides immediate identification and monitoring of boats, markers, and marine life, ensuring operators maintain heightened situational awareness.
- Advanced Sensor Fusion: By integrating data from optical, infrared (IR), radar (ARPA), and AIS sensors, Lookout+ delivers a comprehensive understanding of the maritime environment, enhancing detection accuracy and reliability.
- Seamless Integration: Compatible with a variety of camera systems, including USB, V4L, RTSP, ONVIF, and GenICam cameras up to 4K resolution, Lookout+ can be effortlessly incorporated into existing vessel infrastructures without the need for extensive modifications.
- Customizable Alerts and Notifications: Operators can configure alerts to match specific objectives, such as detecting unmarked hazards, marine mammals, or other vessels, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and safety.
- Scalable Field of View: While a human lookout typically focuses on a 30-degree segment of the ocean, Lookout+ scans a 90-degree segment and reports its findings. Multiple units can be combined to achieve up to 360-degree coverage, significantly expanding observational capabilities.
- Compute Units: Provided by Greenroom based on camera number, ingress/vibration protection, and power requirements, or utilize your existing GPU-accelerated computer.
- Detection Ranges: Capable of detecting swimmers at 170 meters, small boats up to 1.8 kilometers, and large vessels up to 10 kilometers, with classification ranges varying accordingly.
- Accuracy: Relative bearing accuracy of ±0.1°, with absolute bearing accuracy dependent on the precision of the compass/INS/IMU used and system calibration.
