DeepSea has unveiled SmartSight MV100, the first in its series of advanced cameras designed specifically for machine vision applications.

The SmartSight MV100 utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to enable sophisticated capabilities such as object detection, navigation, and inspection, offering powerful autonomous solutions for underwater exploration.

SmartSight MV100 Key Features

  • Compliant with industry standards for GigE Vision
  • Multiple sensor options ranging from 0.4 MP to 3.2 MP
  • Global shutter options with color and monochrome configurations
  • Adjustable focal lengths spanning 2.3mm to 6mm
  • Durable titanium housing with a choice of optical glass dome or flat port
  • Exceptional performance at depths of up to 11km (rating may vary based on configuration)
  • Flexible power options including discrete power and Power over Ethernet (PoE)
  • Integrated digital input and output channels for event synchronization and triggering
  • Fully compatible with LED SeaLite SeaStrobe lights for enhanced illumination

Equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet interface for seamless integration, this camera is engineered for efficiency with low power requirements—perfect for autonomous platforms. With an in-water weight of only 0.44 kg (flat port) or 0.37 kg (dome port), the SmartSight MV100 boasts a compact design that fits into tight spaces. Built with a tough titanium housing and customizable configurations, it delivers unmatched versatility and resilience for subsea operations.
