The DNx-DIO-433 offers 32 digital outputs, with each channel configured as a current source that is rated for continuous operation at 600 mA with an output voltage drop of less than 550 mV, and provides a wide output voltage range of 3.3 to 36 VDC. The board is ideal for a wide variety of marine data acquisition and control applications.
The system provides monitoring of each channel’s output voltage and current, enabling detection of short and open circuits as well as other faults. It also includes user-programmable overcurrent protection, allowing selection of current threshold and overload duration. Each channel also offers a PWM “soft-start/stop” capability that allows power to be applied or removed gradually in order to reduce thermal shock.
