Free Flooded Rings
GeoSpectrum’s Free Flooded Ring (FFR) broadband transducers provide toroidal beam patterns and are ideal for a variety of underwater communications and acoustic modem applications as well as for acoustic targets and echo repeaters.
A variety of frequency and source level options are available, and GeoSpectrum can also provide custom solutions, including transducers that use radially poled and circumferentially poled (segmented) construction methods to save costs and weight. These custom solutions may also be used as drop-in replacements for obsolete transducer models from other manufacturers.
