Neousys Technology has launched two new IP66 AI panel PCs powered by NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX or Orin™ Nano – the NRU-171V-PPC and NRU-172S-PPC.

With its IP66-rated water and dustproof design, the NRU-170-PPC series is an all-in-one solution designed for edge AI applications requiring human interactions.

This includes autonomous vessels and vehicles, as well as edge inspection requiring human confirmation.

The NRU-170-PPC series harnesses the power of the NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX or Orin™ Nano, delivering up to 100 INT8 TOPS for AI-driven vision applications in demanding environments.

For adaptability across diverse semi-outdoor settings, the new PCs feature a 10.1″ touchscreen with 1000 cd/m² brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and an enhanced single-finger touch sensitivity for operating in wet conditions.

Available in two configurations, the NRU-171V-PPC supports up to six GMSL2 automotive cameras with integrated camera drivers, while the NRU-172S-PPC includes four PoE+ GbE ports with M12 connectors for IP or industrial GigE cameras.

The new AI panel PCs also feature fanless operation in MAXN mode without throttling, enabling reliable performance from -25°C to 60°C. Additionally, a waterproof GbE port enables seamless connectivity to external computers or LiDAR systems.

Kaichu Wu, Product Manager at Neousys Technology, commented, “The NRU-170-PPC series has a dedicated focus on ADAS for off-road vehicles in construction, agriculture, forestry, and mining. The IP66 waterproof design, along with shock and vibration resistance provided by M12 connectors, further enhances robustness and reliability for outdoor scenarios.

“The integrated 10.1″ touch panel, onboard PoE+ GbE and GMSL2 camera connectivity, ignition power control, and expansion options for 4G/5G modules make it a compact yet complete solution for in-vehicle AI applications.”
