Submersible Tracking & Recovery Beacons
Xeos’ Iridium-enabled submersible beacons, such as the Apollo series and XMI X, offer two-way communications and GPS tracking for assets deployed to depths of up to 11,000 meters. With proven endurance of over two years submerged, these beacons surface and transmit position and status via the Iridium satellite network.
AIS-compatible Petrel beacons provide automated location updates to nearby vessels upon surfacing, simplifying recovery for short-range offshore operations. Both self-contained and remote-head models are available for seamless integration into AUVs, ROVs, and other subsea platforms.

Complementing these are ultra-bright LED flasher beacons such as the XMF series, engineered for visual detection in harsh offshore conditions and configured for automatic surface activation.
Surface Asset Monitoring & Oceanographic Trackin
The Rover X and Osker X surface beacons provide long-endurance GPS tracking for buoys, vehicles, and platforms, transmitting hourly updates via Iridium. For current tracking and spill response, reusable and disposable Roby X and Osker X units deliver precise drift patterns and boundary breach alerts using the “Watch Circle” feature.
Data Relays & Remote Command Capabilities
Xeos’ Petrel X Relay and Nemo X/S platforms enable critical data to be relayed from subsea and surface assets using serial protocols and Iridium SBD, supporting bidirectional communication and enhancing mission assurance in remote or unattended deployments.
Environmental Sensing & Real-Time Ocean Insights
The company’s Brizo-X wave height sensor and OceanWave buoy deliver accurate, real-time wave statistics via GNSS and SATCOM, while Ares sensors measure turbidity and chlorophyll for environmental and aquaculture monitoring.
