The Compact Navigator from Teledyne Marine is a fully integrated autonomous navigation solution engineered for high-precision operations in constrained subsea environments.
Encased in a titanium housing and measuring only Ø114mm x 135mm, this low-profile system is designed for flush integration into compact ROVs, AUVs, and unmanned surface vessels where space and hydrodynamic efficiency are critical. Its integrated phased array DVL removes the need for external sound velocity sensors, while dual triggering capabilities support synchronization across multiple acoustic devices.
Engineered for operations in GNSS-denied or signal-degraded environments such as harbors, inland waterways, and offshore energy sites, the Compact Navigator supports accurate navigation through a robust bottom-tracking DVL with a range of up to 420 meters.
The Compact Navigator enables survey-grade navigation performance previously unattainable in this size class, making it suitable for detailed structure inspections, hydrographic surveys, and mine countermeasure missions in deeper water without USBL reliance. This level of performance opens new operational domains for small unmanned marine platforms.
