Ellipse-E

The Ellipse-E is a miniature, high-performance GNSS-aided inertial navigation system engineered to provide precise orientation, position, and heave in compact marine platforms. By integrating an industrial-grade MEMS-based IMU with an external GNSS receiver and advanced sensor fusion, it ensures robust navigation even in GNSS-challenged environments like under bridges, in tunnels, or dense offshore structures.

With configurable motion profiles and seamless interfacing with external sensors such as DVL, odometers, or air data units, the Ellipse-E delivers adaptable, high-accuracy solutions for demanding marine and ocean science operations. Optimized for multi-domain deployment, Ellipse-E provides real-time navigation with strong heading resilience and can leverage dual-antenna GNSS for True Heading or integrate with RTK receivers for centimeter-level positioning.

Users benefit from a user-friendly configuration via sbgCenter and enhanced data refinement through Qinertia post-processing software, making the Ellipse-E a versatile choice for USVs, AUVs, instrumented buoys, and other marine systems where navigation integrity is critical.
