DataXplorer™ Listen is a solar-powered, zero-emissions uncrewed vessel that offers dual-use functionality, supporting scientific and environmental applications such as marine mammal monitoring and underwater noise assessments, as well as port security and maritime domain awareness. Equipped with sensitive hydrophones and AI-enhanced detection capabilities, it detects, analyzes and accurately classifies a wide range of underwater sounds in real time.
Featuring a patented self-righting system for quick recovery, a shallow draft, and a robust keel design, the rugged platform can undertake near-silent data collection missions of weeks or even months, and is capable of extended autonomous operation without human intervention.
