Mimer SoftRadio Service provides a robust middleware solution for professional radio systems, optimized for marine, offshore, and autonomous operations. Designed to support analog, DMR, and TETRA radios, the service bridges donor radios and operator consoles with IP-based applications through a centralized, server-hosted architecture.
This flexible platform eliminates the need for on-premises server installations by offloading server-side processing to secure infrastructure managed by LS Electronics, making it ideal for dynamic environments such as unmanned surface vessels (USVs), offshore rigs, and coastal mission control centers.
Using a Windows-based core and the proprietary Mimer protocol, the system allows developers and integrators to unify disparate communication assets across fixed and mobile deployments. Operators and radios are managed independently via MimerID assignments, with full control over audio, push-to-talk, channel switching, and live monitoring—all delivered through an open API.
The Mimer SoftRadio Service enables real-time interoperability between web-based consoles, PoC platforms, and embedded software, supporting mission-critical communications without vendor lock-in or radio protocol expertise. Its fast deployment, minimal hardware footprint, and wide compatibility ensure scalable integration across modern marine operations.
