IQUA Robotics’ Soundtiles is a powerful software package for Windows and Linux that automatically generates underwater acoustic mosaics from forward-looking sonar imagery. Providing comprehensive overviews of the surveyed area with enhanced resolution and signal-to-noise ratio, and enabling easy interpretation of the scene these mosaics are ideal for a variety of industrial, scientific and defense applications, including:

The intuitive software provides an easy-to-use wizard that guides users every step of the way from project creation to mosaic generation. Generated mosaics can be exported in a number of common image formats, including georeferenced .tif files that can be opened in any GIS software. Soundtiles can also export video files that show the incremental rendering of the map.
Soundtiles can create mosaics based only on image data recorded in the sonar file, and can also utilize positioning and/or rotation data from GPS, IMU, or other systems where available, It currently supports the processing of sonar data from the following manufacturers:
