FT743-SM

The FT743-SM is an advanced wind sensor designed to withstand the harshest of offshore and sea-going environments. Measuring wind speeds up to 75 m/s with 360° direction measurement, it is constructed from lightweight corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum and features a powerful thermostatically-controlled full-body heating system that ensures reliable and maintenance-free operation in icy conditions.

Based on FT Technologies’ proprietary Acu-Res® technology, the innovative sensor delivers an excellent signal-to-noise ratio and high levels of data availability even under challenging environmental conditions such as shock, vibration and heavy rain. It is available with digital RS-485 or analog 4-20mA interfaces.

The rugged sensor weighs just 252g, and is ideal for vessels and platforms operating in the most challenging of waters.
