AUV CTD

The AUV CTD from D-2 Incorporated delivers precise conductivity, temperature, and depth data for AUVs, UUVs, ROVs, USVs, floats, and gliders in a compact and energy-efficient form. Built around D-2’s hybrid conductivity cell, the system provides closed field accuracy without the need for a pump, resulting in a silent, low power profile ideal for autonomous operations. Available in standard and ultra low power versions, the AUV CTD supports sampling rates up to 32 Hz with onboard memory for standalone deployments. Its rugged Delrin housing and oil filled conductivity cell ensure reliable measurements at depth in demanding marine environments.

Engineered for seamless integration, the AUV CTD offers multiple mounting options and user configurable settings for sampling and depth range. A high speed thermistor and precision pressure transducer deliver fast response, stable data for salinity and density profiling. D-2’s in-house salinometer enables rapid calibration turnaround, typically within two weeks, ensuring dependable performance and minimal downtime for mission critical oceanographic operations.
