Cetasol, a Swedish maritime technology company focused on intelligent solutions for sustainable operations, has been awarded the Maritime Sustainability Award at Seawork 2025 in Southampton.
The award was presented as part of the Seawork Innovation Showcase, where Cetasol exhibited its advisory platform iHelm and its expanding suite of AI-powered microservices. The recognition was specifically given for the newly developed intelligent speed gauge and intelligent fuel gauge featured in Captain Display 2.0.

These innovations provide vessel operators with real-time, user-friendly insights that directly support energy efficiency and emission reduction during operations.
The participation at Seawork was part of Cetasol’s ongoing collaboration with RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, through which the company is advancing its digital twin capabilities – a foundation for predictive insights, simulation, and optimization across vessel operations.
Cetasol asserts that the recognition highlights the company’s commitment to reducing emissions and operational costs through advanced digital solutions for the maritime sector.
Ethan Faghani, CEO of Cetasol, stated, “We’re glad to see our work in sustainability being recognised at Seawork. It reinforces the value of our mission: to make sustainability a simple and accessible choice in maritime operations. Recognition like this encourages us to continue innovating, collaborating, and pushing the industry toward more intelligent and environmentally responsible practices.”
