The 100 Series CT Sensors were the original NBOSI conductivity-temperature units, built with an externally mounted CT cell and a separate internal precision electronics board. These legacy sensors were produced in both rectangular and cylindrical form factors, providing reliable conductivity and temperature measurement across a wide range of deployments. Both configurations have now been directly replaced by the dimensionally identical Model 501 and Model 503 CTD sensors, which incorporate integrated electronics in a more compact and streamlined design.
For applications requiring conductivity and temperature measurement only, including ASV deployments, a 500 Series sensor configured without a pressure sensor provides a more efficient alternative. These newer configurations offer simplified installation, improved performance, and reduced overall system complexity. NBOSI continues to support the installed base, with servicing and repair available for the more than 1,000 Series 100 sensors currently deployed worldwide.
