DeepSea is showcasing its latest subsea imaging and technology solutions at Oceanology International 2026 in London.

At the event, DeepSea is featuring the MxD SeaCam UHD and the SmartSight MV100 machine vision camera, alongside an expanded portfolio that includes subsea cameras, lights, relief valves, and battery systems. Oceanology International is the world’s leading ocean science and technology event, bringing together industry professionals and researchers from around the world.

DeepSea General Manager, Aaron Steiner will present on Thursday, March 12 at 11:00 AM in the South Gallery, Room 7 & 8, delivering a session focused on the real-world performance of the MxD SeaCam UHD.

Steiner will highlight how the system captured edge-to-edge 4K detail at a depth of 5,095 meters during the NA176 South Pacific expedition, where the camera was integrated with Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) Little Hercules to support environmental documentation that contributed to Cook Islands seabed mining policy development.

The presentation will explore how Sony broadcast-grade imaging technology, custom Canon optics, and DeepSea engineering combine to deliver cinema-quality clarity across 99% of the seafloor, establishing a new benchmark for deep-ocean visual documentation.
