The G181 is a low-power high-accuracy fiber optic gyro that consists of three sensors mounted on a solid frame, as well as a fully-integrated ADC board with serial RS422 output. Delivering angular rate outputs on three axes with low noise, in a cylindrical package measuring just 46 x 106 mm, it features almost instant startup and a power consumption of just 2W.

The sensor is available with an aluminium or magnetically-shielded μ-metal housing, and is ideal for stabilization and control applications on a variety of marine vessels and platforms.
