The Apache 4 is a highly versatile USV designed for efficient hydrographic, bathymetric, and hydrological surveys, featuring a built-in single-beam echosounder and the ability to host a range of other equipment including many industry-standard ADCPs.
GNSS positioning tightly coupled with an integrated IMU allow for uninterrupted survey data even in GNSS-denied conditions such as under bridges. The platform's high-accuracy positioning and automated navigation control technologies make it ideal for high-accuracy hydrographic cross-section flow measurements.
The standard Apache 4 package includes the USV, remote control unit, single-beam echosounder, and GNSS/IMU sensor. The vessel can also be optionally provided with the Teledyne Riverray or Riverpro, Sontek M9, or ROWE Seaprofiler ADCPs, as well as CHCNAV's sidescan module for subsurface object detection, or a water quality assessment sensor.
