CHCNAV's Apache 3 is a cost-effective USV platform designed for bathymetric surveys of lakes, rivers, and coastal areas. Equipped with a single-beam echosounder, 4G communications, and high-efficiency propulsion motors, it is capable of autonomously navigating pre-determined routes even under challenging flow and current conditions.
The highly portable USV weighs just 7kg with a length of 1 meter and a shallow-draft hull. Dual GNSS positioning and an integrated IMU allow for uninterrupted survey data even in GNSS-denied conditions such as under bridges.
The standard Apache 3 package includes the USV, remote control unit, single-beam echosounder, and GNSS/IMU sensor. The vessel can also be optionally equipped with CHCNAV's water assessment sensor that measures water quality parameters such as pH, temperature, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, and more.
