The Port Sentinel™ is a fully-automated and highly customizable environmental monitoring station designed specifically for port and harbor applications. Ideal for enhancing the safety and effectiveness of marine traffic management and operational planning, it can be equipped with a wide choice of sensors to provide real-time reporting of meteorological data, current speed and direction, water levels and more.
The self-contained and solar-powered system is housed in an IP67-rated NEMA 4X enclosure, and is controlled by the proven WatchMan500 module, which continuously monitors all sensors and outputs AIS-compatible message types at a user-specified interval. Data can be managed and accessed remotely via the optional AXYS-APS secure portal.
